Privacy policy — Ethnic Size Guide

What we collect
When a merchant installs Ethnic Size Guide, Shopify gives us an authentication session for the store: the store domain and an access token. That is the entire set of data this app stores.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, receive, process, or store customer personal data of any kind. We do not collect order, cart, checkout, or product data. The size guide shown to shoppers is static content served from Shopify’s CDN — it makes no requests to our servers and no requests to any third party, so we never see who opened it. The app requests no Shopify API access scopes.
Analytics and third parties
There is no analytics SDK, tracking pixel, advertising network, or third-party script in the storefront component. We do not share data with anyone, because there is no customer data to share.
Shopper data on the shopper’s own device
The guide remembers one thing in the browser’s local storage: whether the shopper prefers inches or centimetres. It never leaves the device and is not linked to any identity.
GDPR requests
We respond to Shopify’s mandatory customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact webhooks. Because we hold no customer data, the first two have nothing to return or erase. shop/redact deletes the store’s session records.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes the store’s session records immediately. Your size guide settings live in your own theme and remain yours.
